John Bradshaw and Terry Carter talk to BBC WM Alex Lester
about The Birmingham Pals
John Bradshaw’s great uncle, trained at Moseley with the Birmingham Pals and lost his life at Polderhoek Chateau, just short of Passendale, on 9th October 1917. John went to Leper for the long weekend (6th - 9th October) so he could explore the area, establish the site of the events and spend part of the 100th anniversary on the spot. During the morning he did a short live interview on BBC Radio WM from the exact spot.
